Adventure in New York City. The Charging Bull and the Mystery Deepens.
“Now I feel like a real celebrity!” shouted Mira, as all the travelers and Luctus climbed into the limo which had fancy lights and deep leather seats.
Hari however was getting anxious, he wondered when they would find a way or at least a clue that would get him closer to home. He was happy about these memorable experiences with the group, but he was really missing his mother and his sister.
Finally, the limo pulled up to a statue of a bull. A BULL! This is exactly what they’ve been looking for! They got out of and ran over to the statue. As with all their adventures, they never really knew what these clues meant.
“This is Wall Street” said Teyus looking around at the iconic buildings. “My dad keeps telling me how he lost on Wall Street and how my grandmother made a killing”. No idea what any of that means!”
As they walked around the grass that surrounded the bull, they saw a strange emblem on a door of one of the nearby buildings. It looked similar to the bull that Hari got from the pharaohs and it had the words ‘Secret Society of Ancient Arts’ etched into the bricks above the door. The building was dark and obviously not in use, it didn’t look like anyone was around or inside.
Hari took out the statue of the bull he had received from King Tutankhamun's tomb and looked at the emblem on the building’s door again. They matched! Maybe there was another clue here!
As the travellers ran towards the building, they saw a very old paint brush on the ground in front of the building’s entrance. It was engraved ‘Amicus Hari’. Attached to it was a note that read:
‘Ars nunquam perficientur modo reliquuentur’
Mira informed them that it's Latin and translated it to read ‘My friend Hari, Art is never finished, only abandoned’.
Shocked, the travellers just looked at each other, wide eyed. They had no idea what any of this meant. Who had left this brush here? How did they know Hari would find it?
It was late and they had to get home. More confused than ever, they jumped on to Luctus velo. Just as they were about to leave, the map started to vibrate again. Hari quickly pulled it out of his pocket and opened it. An image of a glowing paintbrush appeared with the words ‘Ars nunquam perficientur modo reliquuentur’.
What did all of this mean?
