What is Math Hackathon?

The Math Hackathon (June 3-4, 2023) is a global math competition where contestants use math to solve one of our world's most pressing issues.

Who can register?

The competition is open to students all around the world who are between the ages of 11- 17 and who are enrolled full time in school. We welcome students with all different Math levels

Join as yourself or as part of a team!

Participants can join either as individuals (if they want to work on their project solo) or join as a group of maximum 4 members, and work collaboratively with others.

What is the competition all about?

Every year we pick a theme and allow contestants to find a solution using whatever math you know.

Last year, our contestants solved the problem of vaccine deliveries in underpriviledged countries.

This year, our theme is sustainable communities.

How do I submit my solution?

Once the competition opens, you will be able to access our math portal which will allow you to submit your answer. The portal can easily be accessed on the web and does not require any additional software.
